2. Website delivery and hosting
We use STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, as our hosting provider. Website requests involve processing an IP address, time, requested file, browser information, data volume, HTTP status and, where available, the referring page. This supports reliable operation and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is a secure, functioning website.
STRATO processes hosting data in Germany. Our hosting contract includes the data processing agreement under Article 28 GDPR. STRATO states that IP addresses used to prevent attacks are retained for a maximum of seven days. Customer access logs, with anonymised IP addresses, are available for up to six weeks. 3. Cookies and your choice
We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Choosing “Necessary only” in the notice, or enabling storage in Cookie settings, sets the nd_cookie_notice cookie. It contains only v1, with no user identifier. Its provider is NISCHE DESIGN GmbH. It remembers your choice for 180 days, applies only to this website and uses SameSite=Lax and Secure over HTTPS.
Storage of your expressly selected setting is based on section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR applies; our interest is implementing your choice. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to disable storage and remove the cookie. The website works without storage; the notice may reappear. You may also delete or block cookies in your browser.
4. Contact form and email
When you contact us using the form or by email, we process your name, email address, selected services and project description. Company, phone number and project location are optional. The information is forwarded to info@nischedesign.com to respond to your enquiry; form submissions are not additionally stored in a website database. Contract-related enquiries are processed under Article 6(1)(b) GDPR; other enquiries under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our interest in answering your message. We delete enquiries when no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations or the establishment of legal claims require further retention.
To protect against automated enquiries, we validate submissions on the server and limit sending attempts. This uses pseudonymous IP identifiers and timestamps; names, email addresses and messages are not stored in the spam-protection record. The checking window is 15 minutes. Outdated entries are removed on subsequent form requests. The basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our interest in protecting the website and mailbox. The contact form sets no additional cookies and uses no external CAPTCHA services.
5. Local content and external links
Fonts, images and website scripts are loaded from our webspace. We do not embed external analytics, advertising, maps, video or social media services. If you follow an external link, the destination website’s privacy policy applies.
6. Your rights
Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. You may withdraw consent for the future. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Baden-Württemberg data protection authority.
Connection data required to deliver the website is processed automatically. Other information is voluntary. We do not make automated decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects.
