Hosting and website operation

NISCHE DESIGN GmbH is responsible for operating this website. STRATO provides the technical hosting infrastructure.

We use STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, as our hosting provider. Website requests involve processing IP addresses, access times, requested files, browser information, data volumes, HTTP status and, where available, the referring page. This supports reliable operation and protection against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO; our legitimate interest is a secure, functioning website.

STRATO processes hosting data in Germany. Our hosting contract is subject to a data processing agreement under Art. 28 DSGVO. According to STRATO, IP addresses used to prevent attacks are stored for no more than seven days. Access logs available to customers use anonymised IP addresses and are retained for up to six weeks. Enquiries and responsibilities

Contact form and email

When you contact us using the enquiry assistant or by email, we process your name and email address. You may optionally provide your business division, requested service, project stage, company, telephone number, project location, short description and message. You can skip the questions and submit an enquiry directly. Your details are sent to info@nischedesign.com to process your enquiry; form data is not additionally stored in a website database. For contractual enquiries, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) DSGVO; otherwise, it is Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO, reflecting our interest in responding to your message. We delete enquiries when they are no longer required, unless statutory retention duties or the need to assert legal claims require otherwise.

You may optionally submit up to two project documents in PDF, JPG or PNG format, each no larger than 2 MB. The server checks the file type and size, reads the files from temporary upload storage and sends them as email attachments to the central mailbox of NISCHE DESIGN GmbH. There is no public file storage and no additional storage of the documents in a website database. Please submit only documents needed to process your enquiry.

To protect against automated enquiries, we validate submissions on the server and limit sending attempts. This uses pseudonymous IP identifiers and timestamps; names, email addresses and message content are not stored in the spam-protection record. The checking period is 15 minutes. Outdated entries are removed on subsequent form requests. The basis is Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO, reflecting our interest in protecting the website and mailbox. The contact form sets no additional cookies and uses no external CAPTCHA services.

Recipients and sharing of enquiry data

Form submissions are sent to info@nischedesign.com, the central mailbox of NISCHE DESIGN GmbH. Hosting and email delivery use the hosting provider's technical infrastructure. The form code does not forward enquiries to a separate Cyprus mailbox, ND CONNECT or external specialist partners.

Subsequent personal handling or forwarding of an enquiry is separate from this technical transmission. The shared brand presentation alone is not described here as joint controllership by both companies.

Technical services and cookies

Cookies and your choices

We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. Selecting ‘Necessary only’ in the notice, or enabling storage in Cookie settings, sets the cookie nd_cookie_notice which contains only the value v1, with no user identifier. The provider is NISCHE DESIGN GmbH. Its purpose is to remember your choice for 180 days. The cookie applies only to this website and is set over HTTPS with SameSite=Lax and Secure.

Your expressly selected preference is stored pursuant to § 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Where personal data is processed, the basis is Art. 6(1)(f) DSGVO; our legitimate interest is implementing your choice. Use ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer to disable storage and remove the cookie. The website remains usable without storage; the notice may appear again. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser.

Local content and external links

Fonts, images and website scripts are loaded from our webspace. We do not embed external analytics, advertising, maps, video or social-media services. The destination site's privacy terms apply only when you open an external link.

WhatsApp and Instagram are provided as links only. No social-media content is embedded. ND CONNECT currently offers neither user accounts nor platform forms.

Your rights

Subject to statutory conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your particular situation. Any consent given may be withdrawn for the future. You may complain to a data protection supervisory authority, including the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.

Connection data required to access the website is processed automatically. Other information is voluntary. No automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects takes place.
